At this year’s summer Graduation ceremonies, four honorary degrees were awarded to individuals whose careers and contributions reflect Royal Holloway’s values of leadership, innovation, and positive societal impact.

  • Tracie D. Hall, former Executive Director of the American Library Association, is a champion of literacy and digital equity, named one of TIME magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world in 2023.

  • Dr Shirlene Oh, NHS leader and sustainability advocate, is working to deliver the world’s first net-zero, digitally intelligent hospital and is a close collaborator with our Department of Health Studies.
