Social Bite

In the Emily Wilding Davison Building, our library café serves great coffee with a clear social impact. With tempting snacks and value meal deals, every purchase supports the mission to end homelessness. Our coffee is Fairtrade, organic and Rainforest Alliance certified, and through Social Bite’s Pay It Forward scheme you can buy a meal or drink for someone in need. Do good while you enjoy a tasty treat. During term time, the café is open Monday-Friday 8am-7pm and from 9am-4pm at the weekends (Vacation period opening times may vary).

Crosslands

Located in the heart of the Founder’s Building, Crosslands opens onto the South Quad. Customers can enjoy breakfast until 11am and jacket potatoes, soup and hot and cold sandwiches at lunchtime. In the evenings, Crosslands transforms into a relaxed bar, serving pizza from 5.30-8pm during term time, as well as bar snacks, beers, wines and spirits. Crosslands is open from 8am - 11pm from Monday - Friday during term-time (vacation opening times may vary).

The Boilerhouse Café

The Boilerhouse Café is located within a stunning heritage building, retaining many of its Victorian features including the original brick walls. Serving artisan coffee and a wide choice of hot and cold food and drinks and an extensive range of vegetarian and vegan food, it’s the perfect place for breakfast or lunch. It also benefits from ample outside seating in the cobbled courtyard. The café is open Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm during term time (vacation opening times may vary).
