The Department of Mathematics at Royal Holloway, University of London has seen a year on year improvement in The Complete University Guide rankings.

We’re delighted to be ranked in the top quartile of UK Mathematics departments for our high level of student satisfaction, placed 14^th nationally in the latest Complete University Guide 2026 published in June.

We’ve also seen an improvement in our score for Graduate Prospects, where Maths ranks at 21^st position, confirming our students go on to great things.

Overall, we’ve climbed 9 places, to 41^st nationally, continuing our year on year improvement, and placing us 6th among London universities and 6th among universities in south east England.
