Praised by the New York Times as “one of the small-scale delights of the New York dance scene,” New Chamber Ballet premieres a new, full-scale ballet - 'TWINE'- inspired by the music of our very own Dr Tonia Ko.

New Chamber Ballet in New York City presents a new, full-length ballet choreographed by Miro Magloire to music by Lecturer in Music Composition at Royal Holloway, Dr Tonia Ko.

Set to five works for piano and/or violin (Plush Earth, Games of Belief, Moves & Remains, Surge Out, andTribute/Axis II) the choreography will lean into Ko’s poetic and evocative sound world in a series of dances for the full company.

The ballet will be performed in New Chamber Ballet's signature, in-the-round setup, with the audience seated up-close and able to see the kaleidoscopic choreography from various angles.

Performers include the dancers Anabel Alpert, Megan Foley, Nicole McGinnis, Amber Neff, Rachele Perla, and Kayla Schmitt; as well as Doori Na (violin) and Sophiko Simsive (piano).
