What is Clearing and how does it work?
Clearing is the way to find university courses with vacancies if you've applied late, changed your mind or your results are not as expected.
Most students use Clearing from A-Level results day (14 August) but if you’ve already got your results you can find a place through Clearing from 5 July.

How to prepare for Clearing

- Join one of our summer campus tours to get a feel for Royal Holloway and imagine yourself studying here
- Book a place at our Clearing Webinar on Tuesday 12 August. We'll give advice on everything you'll need to do to use Clearing on results day
- Browse our undergraduate prospectus to find out what courses we offer and if Royal Holloway is the place for you. We may not open all courses in Clearing but it will help get you prepared.
