Nucleons, some of the most abundant particles in our visible Universe, play a central role in several experiments designed to test the limits of the Standard Model and search for evidence of physics beyond it. In next-generation neutrino experiments like DUNE at Fermilab, neutrinos will be scattered off a liquid-argon detector, made of many nucleons. These experiments aim to investigate neutrino oscillations with unprecedented precision. However, an accurate understanding of the nucleon structure is crucial for analysing the neutrino-nuclei cross section. In this talk, I will review how nucleon structure quantities enter into these analyses and how they can be studied by lattice QCD simulations.
