Meet the Team

Claire Parkinson

Schools and Colleges Liaison Manager

I am very lucky to lead our fantastic Schools and Colleges Liaison team. My role is to oversee all of our activities and make sure we’re reaching as many prospective students as possible. We’re always looking for the best ways to support and inform students, teachers, and parents.

Having previously worked in graduate recruitment, I have spent time at many universities across England. Our stunning campus has always been one of my favourite places to visit, and I love working somewhere so rich in history.

Kellie Cheung

Schools and Colleges Liaison Officer

South East England

I have been a part of the team for almost a year now and my main role is inspiring and motivating students to continue their studies through talks, workshops and attending HE fairs/exhibitions. My favourite part of this role is the rewarding feeling I get when I have assisted a student making a big decision in their life.

I also studied BA Modern Languages (Spanish) at Royal Holloway, with a Year Abroad in Madrid. I am delighted to have returned to somewhere I found myself and now helping students to find that feeling.

Gaby Hobday

Schools and Colleges Liaison Officer

South London and West London

I enjoy working closely with schools across South and West London to further support staff, students, and parents through the university process.

I have four years of experience working in Higher Education and particularly enjoy having conversations with young people about their decisions surrounding university and hope to make a difference in their education journeys. I look forward to using my role to inspire students to think about attending university.

Aimee Chase

Schools and Colleges Liaison Officer

North London, East London and East Anglia

I have been part of the team at Royal Holloway for a year now and have really enjoyed my journey in to the higher education sector. I have particularly enjoyed supporting individual students with their personal statements, alongside helping them make informed decisions about their next steps through HE Fairs, workshops and presentations.

I am grateful to be working with a great team and on such a beautiful campus.

Cameron Gill

Schools and Colleges Development Officer

South West England

I am very happy to have joined the Schools and Colleges team at Royal Holloway as their South West Officer. Starting in December, my time with them has been excellent so far, as I’ve met a wide variety of enthusiastic students and chatted to them about the best steps they can take to pursue their passions.

Prior to joining the team, I worked in the Film & TV industry for several years, taking on duties such as video editing, audio editing, writing, and acting. When talking to students, I often draw on my experiences from this time, highlighting the career possibilities available after studying at university. I’m looking forward to gaining more experience in my role and meeting more brilliant young minds across the South West.

Carlota Kiner-Josa

Assistant Schools and Colleges Officer

I recently joined the team and my main role involves attending Higher Education and UCAS fairs. During these I help motivate students to continue their studies and do my best in answering all queries regarding our incredible university. I also help the rest of the team with administrative aspects. The best bit about this role is feeling like you have truly helped students decide their path, it is incredibly rewarding.

I studied BSc Zoology at Royal Holloway and had some of the best years of my life. I am now thrilled to be working for the university that I love, and to share this love with aspiring students.

Mandy McMahon

Schools and Colleges Administration Assistant

I have worked in the School’s team as an Admin Assistant for the last 2 years, providing Admin support to our team of Liaison Officers. I love being able to assist the team in the great work that they do in providing information and support to young people making decisions for the future.

Royal Holloway is a beautiful campus with a sense of community and a mix of historical and modern buildings. The Founders building is particularly impressive.
