Congratulations to Royal Holloway's Conference Sales Executive, Robert Bedford, on winning the “Rising Star” award at the Academic Venue Solutions annual awards ceremony last week.
When first starting in his role, Rob took over Royal Holloway’s largest residential client, an account which involved residential groups totally over 1,000 guests. Unfazed by the size of the account, Rob managed to grow the business by 15% by enticing additional business away from their usual venues as a result of the level of customer service he delivered and the relationships forged.
During Rob's two years in the role of Conference Sales Executive at Royal Holloway, he has not only shown commitment to his own position, but also the ability to multitask and help other members of the team as well as interacting with a variety of customers of all levels. Well done Rob!
