As Royal Holloway’s conference and events office works towards re-opening and welcoming visitors next month, we are pleased to announce that we have been accredited with the “We’re good to go” COVID-19 industry standard.
The standard, which has been developed by Visit England, demonstrates that the Government’s COVID-19 reopening guidance has been implemented, the guidance from Public Health England has been fully understood and that a robust COVID-19 Risk Assessment is in place. Our visitors and local residents can be reassured that that all the necessary processes are in place in line with government and public health guidance.
Businesses across the UK are assessed according to their respective national guidance including social distancing and cleanliness protocols. An “alert” system ensures that all businesses signed up to the standard are notified of any changes to the official guidance. A call-handling service provides support and assessors are also on hand to carry out random spot-checks to ensure adherence.
